Insurance Requirements
Skydive Ireland requires that all individuals participating in Solo Skydiving must hold Third Party Liability insurance cover that is suitable for skydiving and parachuting.
This is normally a very specialised form of insurance cover which is not typically included with an everyday insurance policy that is offered by insurance agents. It is therefore advised to take out an insurance policy with an insurance provider that specialises in this type of service.
Skydive Ireland is familiar with one such provider who are based in the United Kingdom. Skydive Ireland is not in itself an insurance agent and is not licensed to provide any advice or provide any insurance services, however we can however recommend this company based on our own experience.
With this company you can avail of single day cover or choose from a variety of annual cover options. The insurance cover is available for purchase online from this company's website and can therefore be purchased and activated on the same day of your skydive. Skydive Ireland can assist you with the purchase of this policy and provide internet access at the Dropzone to purchase insurance policies.
Company Insurance Statement
Be advised that Skydive Ireland does not hold liability insurance coverage for participants. Participants must accept full responsibility for the risk associated with Skydiving from an aircraft and related activities. It is therefore necessary for all Participants to complete and agree to a legally binding indemnity contract releasing our company from any and all liability.
