What is Accelerated Freefall (AFF)?
Our AFF Skydiving Program is designed to teach you how to Free Fall while being assisted by two qualified Instructors who guide you through the Skydive.

Fast Track your learning by going directly to 10,500ft to experience the thrill of freefalling at 200 km/h (120 mph) and learning how to fly your body using small movements of your arms and legs to divert the airflow and induce controlled turns and other cool stuff.

The AFF Program begins with a 6 hour ground school which teaches you about the parachute equipment and its safety features, how to fly and control the parachute for a safe landing, and then places focus on teaching you how to Free Fall.

When a human body is falling through the air at 200 km/h or higher, the force that builds up from the rushing airflow makes it possible to use this airflow and control body movement. Learning how to control stability and directional control takes practice so the AFF Program consist of at least 8 Skydives which are broken into different categories. Each category teaches you movement skills such as, how to move forward and backwards, how to turn left and right, how to do barrel rolls and other fun stuff.

Each category skydive also has different skills you will learn for flying the parachute. Through out the program you will be assisted with flying the parachute by having a two-way radio and your Instructor will give you instructions so you learn gradually how to be accurate with your parachute control and landing directions.

Having graduated the program you are then qualified to skydive from 10,500ft unassisted and have the total freedom of the open skies to have fun. We can then begin to teach you how to freefall with other people and do cool things like formation skydiving and all the other amazing things that can be done in the air!

Equipment: We provide all the equipment you need for the AFF Program. This includes the Student Parachute System, a jumpsuit, helmet, goggles, Air-to-Ground radio and an Altimeter (this allows you to read your altitude). We ask that you wear casual clothing, if the weather is cold make sure your clothes are warm. Footwear can include runners or boots (with no lace hooks).

Digital Video Capture
We are the only Skydiving Centre that provides digital video recording as part of our Integrated Student Progression. (ISP). Everything in Skydiving happens very quickly and we like to ensure our Students have a steep learning curve. Using digital video to capture your Skydive is the most effective method of helping you recall your jump and let you see how you performed. Our Instructors are then easily able to teach you tips and techniques to help you improve your skills.

Having your Skydive captured on digital video means we can transfer it onto DVD and you can show it to your friends, family and co-workers to prove you actually did the Skydive!
